Siemon Launches Copper Cable in US Market
Siemon Cable now included in the Siemon Cabling System providing the option for Siemon end-to-end solutions anywhere in the world.
WATERTOWN, CT - Siemon, a world leader in structured cabling systems, announced today the addition of copper cable to its product line in the US market. The Siemon copper cable offering includes Premium 5e®, System 6® and 10G 6™ cables in both Riser and Plenum flame ratings available in several colors. The cable specifications are designed by Siemon Labs and manufactured in the US to deliver superior channel performance. Siemon cable is subject to the same rigorous quality control testing and validation as Siemon connectivity products.
With the launch of its own cable in the US, Siemon will continue to recognize and work with its cable allies. "Siemon cable is positioned as another option within the Siemon Cabling System - which is an open system program," says Rob Galle, Siemon National Sales Manager. Siemon will continue to support end user demand for cabling systems based on using Siemon connectivity with approved ally cables. Galle adds, "This approach gives the end user the ability to use a Siemon cable ally or Siemon cable for their network cabling system. Both end-to-end and open systems are covered by the full Siemon system warranty when designed and installed by a Siemon Certified Installer."
Siemon has been selling its own cable outside the US for over 5 years to support demand for end-to-end enterprise cabling solutions. Siemon in the US is now aligned with Siemon in the rest of the world where we offer a single vendor solution. Siemon copper cable is now available and shipping. Siemon fiber cable will be released in the US later this year.
