Siemon Announces Partnership in CSC's Secure Network Initiative
Watertown CT. Siemon, a globally recognized leader in network cabling, has announced that it is teaming with Communications Supply Corporation's Secure(it), initiative. Secure(it) is focused on developing innovative products and solutions for high-assurance facilities, secure network deployments, and information assurance applications. The initiative is closely aligned with the Department of Defense's Defense-in-Depth strategy and the increased focus on Information Assurance and cyber-security across both the government and the commercial IT community.
The importance and timeliness of this focus is supported by Siemon's own experience supporting its wide customer base in Government and Large Enterprise markets.
"Security has always been a hot button for networks, but more and more, especially among our largest customers, we are seeing security as a central concern," states Robert Carlson, Siemon's VP of Global Marketing.
